Speaking of fair-type food, the missus and I recently encountered a restaurant in Tulsa that serves something called "the crispy rib."
It is a lightly battered, deep-fried pork rib.
It's better than you think. Way better. :)

PK had been begging for a "chicken leg" since she spotted another little girl gobbling down one earlier in the day. Her eyes lit up when I finally coughed up the $7 for hers and there was nary a scrap of avian flesh or skin left on the bone by the time she consumed hers.
